Puck falls off a ship and saves himself by climbing onto an oil tin. Dolphins take him to an island where he meets Tuni, a carved wooden gnome. He visits a big waterfall and is invited to a local feast. Then he sails to Koro, where he sees the calling of the turtles. One of the turtles is friendly and takes him to the island of Beqa to see a real fire dance. A goshawk flies him to another island where a great feast has been organized. A backpacker picks him up and puts him into his pack. Together they will travel wherever the winds take them.
